I didnt know about the suspended license, im not surprised about it i just didnt know about it. The only thing i disagree with the judge about is when she got upset when Chillie called the officer in the courtroom a pig, then she demanded he tell her that he thinks all cops are pigs and thats what motivated her sentence. The judge lost her cool and lowered herself to his level. Thats the only thing I have a problem with when it comes to the judge, had she kept her cool she still would have been able to justify the 6 month sentence but because of her outburst he has an appealable issue unfortunately. Judges are supposed to be unbiassed.

That judge completely ignored the constitution, and should be removed from the bench and convicted of felony refusal to uphold the oath that she took.

Really a big difference in the lawyers. All the defendants were poorly prepared and clearly outmatched. Odou was the best but his Casper Milquetoast persona doesn't work in a trail setting. The Judges: Hardy is the worst. Looks like he is falling asleep on the bench and he mumbles "you knows" as he struggles to put together a coherent ruling. Williams is a close second. Never mind the facts, he has his own intentions and nothing will get in the way of that. Frequently interrupts the lawyers to go down memory lane. Sycophants Parker and Kemp played him a like a fiddle. Kishner likes to talk, using 500 words when only 50 is needed. The jury: Ridiculous 3B award will be reduced by higher court. Appeals: Williams summary judgement ruling that Hanna/Milwaukee Tools was liable will be overturned.

The amount of ppl in the comments thinking this judge is corrupt is hysterical. If you go to court and show remorse, a judge will almost always go easy on you. The gentleman here made it clear he didnt care and will continue to act this way, so the judge gave him a harsh sentence in hope of deterring him from this behavior in the future. Period. Nothing corrupt or wrong on this judge.

I’m not a supporter of DeleteLawz but I’m 100% sure if Chile did nothing but film he wouldn’t be in jail. Chile keeps claiming that he is jail for filming a cop, I have watched the both sides several times and feel that his sentence is appropriate. I feel that interference should be the same level as contempt of court since it would be pure anarchy otherwise.

I think there's a decent chance this gets overturned on appeal. This is a tough one, because it's right on the line. There's ample case law here, but there are competing rulings that are relevant. On the one hand, you're not supposed to be held guilty for obstruction just because the cops approach you and interact with you. But on the other hand, first amendment activity can be limited to "reasonable" time place and manner restrictions. What counts as reasonable is a blurry mess. So I dunno. He may be stuck.

Having no tanning bed, eye liner and frosted chapstick must be taking a toll on that fraudulent law scholar.
